Piano Man Sheet Music

About Piano Man Song
from Wikipedia

"Piano Man" was Billy Joel's first major hit and is considered Joel's signature song. The verses of the song are sung from the point of view of a bar piano player who focuses mainly on everyone else at the bar: John the bartender, the waitress, and bar regulars like Paul and Davy. Most of these characters have unfulfilled dreams, and the pianist's job, it seems (with the help of alcohol), is to help them "forget about life for a while". The chorus, in bar-room sing-a-long style, comes from the bar patrons themselves, who plead, "Sing us a song. / You're the piano man. / Sing us a song, tonight. / Well, we're all in the mood for a melody, / and you've got us feeling alright."

"Piano Man" has been released as a single and on several albums.

Sheet Music: In the Hall of the Mountain King

About "In the Hall of the Mountain King":

This short, two and a half minute song was composed for a fantasy play written by Henrik Ibsen called "Peer Gynt." The play is about the main character, Peer Gynt, and his life’s journey. Ibsen had asked Grieg to compose incidental music for his play about the "anti-hero" to illustrate specific scenes. This particular piece highlights Gynt sneaking into the mountain troll king's hall and then shifts as Gynt insults the troll king's daughter, ending with Gynt's dangerous escape attempt. The song begins with a set of bassoons in the key of B minor as Gynt takes the stage. As the key shifts to F-sharp major, you can almost hear the troll king bounding on the stage, chasing after Gynt.
